Summer time:

The Costa Tropical of Granada province consists of particularly picturesque beaches, and is far less crowded than its popular neighbor, the Costa del Sol.
​Almuñécar's summers are typically hot, without rainfall.
Temperatures will be between 25 degrees Celsius to 33 degrees Celsius during the day with clear blue skies virtually guaranteed. Because Almuñécar's humidity is low and with cool breezes from the Sea, you won't feel the temperature is as high as it really is. (Almond harvest in August / september).

Winter time:

In the valley, this is the time for the harvest of avocadoes, mangoes, chirimoyas, papayas, oranges...
The winters are mild with many sunny days and clear blue skies. Almuñécar's climate, one of the best in the world, is very healthy especially for sufferers of arthritis.

T​he temperatures can vary greatly. One day it can be over 20 degrees Celsius and you will be walking around in your T-shirt, on another day​ it can be 10 degrees Cesius​, and you'll appreciate a good pullover​. It is possible, in the course of one day, to ski​in the nearby mountain​s, and follow with a swim or an other water sport in the Mediterranean sea. ​Most winter days in Jete are clear and sunny although it cools down a lot in the evening.
